• 6:30PM | The parade leaves Eastern Esplanade car park (formerly known as the Gasworks)

• 6:30PM-7:15PM | The parade makes its way along Marine Parade to Southend Pier.

• 7:30PM-7:45PM | The parade finishes on Western Esplanade by Roberto's.

• 8PM | The fabulous free fireworks finale is set off from a barge out on the Thames just east of Southend Pier, but you can see them from anywhere along the seafront!

Yes, it is free to attend the parade.

Yes, the parade route is accessible for wheelchair users. The Parade takes place along Southend's iconic seafront, which is flat and easily accessible. There is a viewing platform on the raised area by the fountains for wheelchair users on Marine Parade.

From the High Street/City Centre, access is via Pier Hill. There are lifts to and from the seafront, which are located at the bottom of the High Street.

No, but there are plenty of seafront businesses where you can buy burgers, fish and chips, hot doughnuts, ice cream, and more.

If you just want to watch, no need to register, just turn up on the day!

You can find parking information at Getting Here | Southend Halloween Parade. The car parks fill up quickly, we recommend using public transport if you can.

Dogs are not allowed to be in the parade. We do not advise bringing dogs to watch as it can be crowded and noisy, plus there is a fireworks display at 8 PM.

Yes, there will be road closures on Marine Parade, part of Western Esplanade, and Eastern Esplanade.

Yes, there are public toilets along the parade route.

The parade will go ahead unless there are storm or hurricane conditions.
